Day 2...Washington DC

Ok, after day 2 I am feeling a good bit more confident in my ability to adjust and deal with the challenges and anxieties ahead of me.  I am still very upset about the relationships that i will not be able to be involved in over the next couple of years, but contact isnt hard.  And ill be home to visit once in a while.  Remember there are plenty of tourism and resorts in Guatemala people.

Day 2 in DC was long and instructional, just like day 1...and i'm glad to be done with staging.  I leave for Guatemela city this morning at 7:00 am, so keep me in your thoughts. Little stands in the way of Guatemala besides a few beers and a joy ride about Georgetown and Arlington with Jack and Ananda.  I wish I could have another big goodbye, but they make it harder, and ive been doing it all summer haha.  If i don't get to say an official goodbye to you, Im sorry, but ill say hello in not all that long.  I will be out of touch as far as internet and telephone goes for the next 4-6 days.  Do not think I have gotten lazy on the blog yet, Im just in a developing country.

Goodbye USA,

Colin R Deffet
